JK Rowling can’t stop laughing at Trump

The Harry Potter author finds the POTUS’s claim to be a bestselling author, hilarious

Update : 04 Jul 2018, 04:23 PM

US President Donald Trump was mocked by JK Rowling for his hilarious tweet on Tuesday. Trump tweeted on Tuesday afternoon and claimed to have written many bestselling books and boast about his writing style. Ironically, he misspelled a word in the same sentence.

“After having written many bestselling books, and somewhat priding myself on my ability to write, it should be noted that the Fake News constantly likes to pour over my tweets looking for a mistake. I capitalize certain words only for emphasis, not b/c they should be capitalized!” Trump tweeted.

Instead of pour over, he wrote “pore over”.

Before Donald Trump could delete his original post before reposting it, Rowling found it and she couldn’t stop laughing and repeatedly wrote “hahaha” in six consecutive lines. The writer also gave the president correct spelling of the word.

However, Rowling was not the only one to have found the original posts, many other Twitter users were quick to find the error and highlight it.

Merriam-Webster Dictionary’s Twitter account also felt the importance to point out the grammatical difference between “pore and “pour.”

Jimmy Kimmel, who is known for roasting Trump on Twitter, did not miss this opportunity to troll him and joined the conversation.
