Playwright, musician, and independent filmmaker, Masud Hasan Ujjal, recently took to Facebook and posted that he is looking for actors for his new film, “Back Pack Cinema.” His debut feature film “Unoponchash Batash” has recently finished production and is being edited and dubbed.
He also said that the screenplay for his upcoming film is complete. After casting his upcoming film, he wants to start shooting it in September. The filmmaker has decided not to take long breaks in his filmmaking career and wants to keep making new films.
In another recent post on his Facebook profile, he said: “I always try to work from the accountability I feel for my country, society and audience. Various difficulties and uncertainties don’t let a promising filmmaker choose filmmaking as his profession. I want to have that courage. And for that while my film “Unoponchash Batash” is on the editing table I am dreaming of my upcoming film.”
Sharlin Farzana and Imtiaz Barshan are the lead characters of “Unoponchash Batash”, directed by Ujjal, who is also a popular television director. The film is produced by Asif Hanif, under Red October’s banner—where Syeda Shaon is the executive producer.
