Actors Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, who played on-screen lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte in fantasy TV saga "Game of Thrones", officially tied the knot on Saturday in Aberdeen, Scotland, reports BBC.
Several co-stars from the world famous show, including Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Peter Dinklage, were present at the ceremony.
The ceremony was held at the remote Wardhill Castle in Aberdeenshire, which has been in Leslie's family for 900 years, according to the Daily Mail.
Harington and Leslie first announced their engagement back in September 2017 in The Times of London.
The actors, who are both 31, have been dating for several years but had kept their relationship fairly low key. They went public as a couple in 2016 on the red carpet at the Olivier Awards in London.
Harington told the L'Uomo Vogue magazine that the on-screen romance contributed to the pair getting together, after filming in Iceland in 2012.
"The country is beautiful...the Northern Lights are magical...it was there that I fell in love," he said.
“If you're already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”
Leslie left the show in 2014 as her character died but Harington's iconic character Jon Snow has appeared in almost every episode throughout the hit HBO show, which will air its final season next year.
