Popular Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez took to Instagram on Saturday to share the news of a permanent eye injury she suffered on the sets of her recently released film “Race 3.”
She wrote: “So it’s a permanent injury and my iris will never be a perfect round again but so so grateful I can see!! #race3memories #abudhabi”
The film, released on Eid-ul-Fitr, also stars Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem. Unlike its previous editions, this film was directed by Remo D'Souza, instead of Abbas-Mastan.
The film, which opened at Rs29.17 crore, pocketed another Rs38.14 crore on Saturday, bringing the grand total to Rs67 crore, tweeted Indian film trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
"Race 3 hits the ball out of the park on Day 2. Eid festivities gave massive boost to its business," he tweeted, along with the prediction of Rs100 croreplus weekend.
This is Jacqueline's second film with Salman Khan after “Kick.”
