Bangladeshi actor Siam Ahmed paid homage to legendary Dhallywood film star Salman Shah in the song “Number One Hero” from Jaaz Multimedia’s upcoming film “Poramon 2.” In the teaser of the song, released on Tuesday, Siam is seen in many of the iconic Salman Shah getups. The full song will be released on Jaaz Multimedia’s official YouTube channel on May 17.
Speaking of the film, Siam Ahmed recently told the press that the whole premise is centred on Salman, and he is portraying the role of Shujon Shah, a diehard Salman Shah fan. His rural character watches the films of the legendary hero at another village’s cinema hall as his own village does not have any. He returns to his village after watching these films and entertains the villagers about what the hero did and what happened in his films.
He also added that he had to take many of the iconic styles of the superstar in many parts of the film for his character.
The song “Number One Hero” penned by Kolkata’s Priyo Chattopadhyay was sung and composed by Akassh. The choreography of the track’s dance number in the film was done by Indian choreographer Jayesh.
The film’s production company said in a recent Facebook post that this song will be an “anthem for Salman Shah fans” and also the “first ever tribute to the legendary actor.”
Popular actor Siam has worked in numerous TV dramas, commercials and short films but this will be his debut on the big screen.
