The edTech platform Instructory celebrated its 6th year in operation by recognizing and honoring teachers.
On January 24, the company gathered over three hundred teachers at the Agargaon Liberation War Museum in Dhaka to mark the anniversary.
During the event, Instructory presented special awards to students who had earned a "Gold Membership Card" as well as to the top teachers who had made exceptional contributions to the country's skill-building industry.
The event started at 2 pm with a Quran recitation. The 6th anniversary of Instructory was then celebrated with guests and teachers, including the founder, co-founder, and other notable figures, who cut a cake.
The event was attended by Rifat M Huq, Founder of Instructory, Hosna Ara Kolly, Co-Founder at Instructory, Md. Ishtiaq Haque, CSO at IAcademy, Mohammad Ali, Founder and Director, United College of Aviation Science and Technology (UCA), Principal (Retd.) Commodore M Anwarul Haque at UCA, Founder of SupriOX, Atiqur Rahman, Founder of Bangladesh Innovation Forum, Ariful Hasan Apu, Health Entrepreneur and Managing Partner of Rejuva Wellness, Dr Borhanuddin Ahmed Sadiq, along with top professionals, entrepreneurs, teachers, freelancers, representatives of the IT sector, startups, and edutech community.
Instructory's teachers and students were recognized with awards, gold membership cards, and honors in the evening. The event also featured a winter pitha puli festival and a gaming session.
Rifat M Huq, a young entrepreneur and founder of Instructory, stated that they aim to transform Bangladesh into a smart nation.
They want the country's youth to utilize their time to enhance their abilities. By selecting from over 390 online courses tailored to their preferences, they can prepare themselves for the job market or freelancing opportunities, contributing significantly to the nation's economy.
The vision is to create skilled human resources based on the “Instructory - Made in Bangladesh” platform. He further added that through this platform the young community, homemakers, or educated unemployed individuals can improve their skills from anywhere.
They can work abroad while residing in the country, generating remittances. Instructory is dedicated to achieving this goal, where everyone can learn and grow.
Instructory, a domestic edtech platform and online teaching marketplace, was planned in 2017 to create a self-sufficient and skilled Bangladesh.
This platform offers various online technology-related skill development courses taught by the country's top freelancers and professional teachers.
People from any part of the country can take these courses at a low cost from the comfort of their homes. Instructory currently has over 300 skilled teachers and more than 50,000 students from all 64 districts of the country.
