Sadaf Saaz, one of the three directors of Dhaka Lit Fest, said that the event could have been made even grander had there not been budget issues.
She said this in a meeting organized by Bangla Tribune and Dhaka Lit Fest authorities on Tuesday evening.
Sadaf said: “175 events will be held this time. A lot of misinformation had spread during the Covid-19 pandemic. We learnt the importance of science and information. We have tried to emphasize that evidence is very important. We will express this knowledge not only through our lives but also through films.”
Two other directors of Dhaka Lit Fest, Ahsan Akbar and Dr Kazi Anis Ahmed participated in the meeting moderated by Munni Saha. The meeting is being broadcast live by the private television channel ATN News. Besides, the event is live on the Facebook homepage of Bangla Tribune.
