The prices of most of the shares on the county’s two bourses increased on Tuesday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index rose over 46 points to stand at 3,710 at the close on the day trading.
The volume of transactions however increased to Tk 1885 million and trade deals stood at 68999.
Of the issues traded, 239 advanced, 22 declined and 12 remained unchanged during the time.
OLYMPIC topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 138 million having changed hands.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 6,954 by gaining over 117 points.
Out of the issues traded, 161 gained 22 declined and nine remained unchanged.
