The Q2 (April-June) earnings of Express Insurance Limited rose by 24.44%.
In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Wednesday, the insurance company said that its earnings per share (EPS) was Tk0.56 for the Q2 of 2021 as against Tk0.45 for the same period of 2020.
Meanwhile, its net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk16.37 as of June 30, 2021, and Tk19.00 as of December 31, 2020.
Earlier on Sunday, Express Insurance Limited declared a 2% final cash dividend for its shareholders. Prior to that, the company also declared a 5% interim cash dividend, which has already been paid.
The insurance company made its debut on the stock market back on August 24, 2020. The closing price for each of its shares was Tk41.1 during Wednesday’s session.
