Investors saw moderate fall in the benchmark indices of country’s bourses on Sunday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 40 points to stand at 3,666 at the close on the first trading day.
Trade deals stood at 70370 with transactions at Tk 1777 million. Of the issues traded, 68 advanced, 185 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
BENGALWTL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 150 million having changed hands.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 6996 by dropping over 53 points.
Out of the issues traded, 32 gained, 142 declined and eight remained unchanged.
