Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) on Tuesday decided to revert to original trading hours from Wednesday.
From the day, stock trading will be conducted from 10:30am to 2:30pm, which is the regular trading hours, according to separate press releases issued by the bourses.
From March 18 to June 17, the DSE and CSE conducted stocks trading from 10:30am to 1:30pm without any break.
Later, bourses decided to reschedule the trading hours from June 18 and reset the hours from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
The releases have said the new trading hours were set due to the change in banking transaction hours amid the pandemic.
The authorities of the bourses requested investors to make transaction digitally via their phones and online to avoid physical contact of any sort.
