Morris Garages, a British automotive brand, began its operations in Bangladesh with the launching of MG ZS on Thursday.
British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Chatterton Dickson launched the model at a hotel in Dhaka.
Rancon Group Managing Director Romo Rouf Chowdhury, Shawn Hakim, Divisional Director of Rancon Auto Manufacturing Division and other officials were also present.
According to organizers, MG ZS is packed with intelligent technology, including LED daytime running lights, cruise control, bluetooth, an eight-inch colour touch screen, satellite navigation, reversing camera, and sensors.
The model is also available with a choice of 1.5 and 1.00-litre turbo engine.
The price of the automobile is Tk26.50 lakh.
The MG ZS will be available at MG’s flagship showroom at Bir Uttam Mir Shawkat Sarak, Dhaka.

Rancon British Motors Ltd has brought “Morris Garages” to Bangladesh.
The Journey of MG in Bangladesh will be spearheaded by MG ZS and will be followed by some models like MG3, a hatchback, HS, a technologically advanced new crossover, and ZS EV, an electric car.
