Matlub Ahmad takes over as IBCCI president

Abdul Matlub Ahmad, chairman of Nitol-Niloy Group, has been elected as the new president of the India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) for the term from 2017-19. The election was held at the 10th Annual General Meeting of the chamber on December 10 at Nitol Centre, Mohakhali CA, Dhaka. According to a press release, HSTC Ltd CEO M Shoeb Chowdhury and Asian Consumer Care Private Ltd Country Manager Sanjay Kailash Munshi were both elected as vice presidents, among 16 other new members of the board.
