Pubali Bank PLC has collaborated with Mastercard to launch Bangladesh’s first Offshore Banking debit card.

The new card provides eligible non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) and foreign nationals a convenient way to manage offshore banking assets while enjoying a range of travel and lifestyle benefits.

It enables access to banking services in approved foreign currencies, helping customers meet their cross-border financial needs with greater ease.

Exclusively available to customers of the bank's Offshore Banking Unit, the World Mastercard debit card can be linked to offshore savings and current accounts maintained in US dollars and other approved foreign currencies.

It offers a secure and convenient way to make e-commerce purchases, point-of-sale (POS) transactions, and other international payments, supporting cardholders’ global banking and spending requirements.

Cardholders can also enjoy a range of international airport lounge privileges, including three complimentary visits per year with a guest through the LoungeKey program.

Additionally, they get two complimentary visits annually to Balaka Executive lounge in Dhaka, with one accompanying guest.

Further, the new card enables unlimited access to domestic airport lounge facilities throughout the year, with one accompanying guest permitted on each visit.

Mohammad Ali, managing director, Pubali Bank PLC, said: “We are committed to strengthening our Offshore Banking Division with solutions that meet the evolving needs of NRBs and international customers. The Pubali Bank Mastercard Offshore Banking World Debit Card combines foreign-currency flexibility, convenient payments and travel benefits to make offshore banking more seamless and accessible.”
