ONE Bank PLC has signed an agreement with Alpha Islami Life Insurance PLC to facilitate convenient and seamless insurance premium collection for the company’s policyholders.
This collaboration will enable policyholders to have greater access to convenient payment facilities through ONE Bank’s branch network and its digital payment platforms.
This will make the premium payment process easier, faster and more accessible.
On behalf of the two organizations, the agreement was signed by Nura Alam Siddikie Ovee, chief executive officer of Alpha Islami Life Insurance PLC, and Shabbir Ahmed, acting managing director of ONE Bank PLC.
The signing ceremony was attended by Shajedul Bari, deputy managing director, training; Mohammad Shah Alam (Mamun), deputy managing director, operations; Mohammad Nazmul Akbar Jewel, assistant managing director & head of ICT; Md Shahadat Hossain, senior executive vice president & head of group & health insurance department; Md Alamgir Alam, executive vice president & head of finance & accounts from Alpha Islami Life Insurance PLC.
Iftekhar Ahmed Zafar, deputy managing director, and head of transaction and investment banking division; AYM Mostafa, additional deputy managing director & chief information officer, information technology division; Mirza Ashraf Ahmad, senior executive vice president & head of treasury; Pankoj Suter, senior vice president & chief financial officer; Abdul Zabed, senior assistant vice president & head of public sector (liability) from ONE Bank PLC, were also present at the event.
The partnership further strengthens ONE Bank’s payment collection capabilities by bringing insurance premium payments within its growing digital ecosystem.
Through ONEApp, OK Wallet and other digital payment channels, policyholders can also make their premium payments conveniently and securely.
