IFIC Bank PLC held its Half-Yearly Business Conference 2026 for Dhaka North and South Regions on Wednesday, August 12, at the Multipurpose Hall of IFIC Tower in Purana Paltan, Dhaka.
Managing director Syed Mansur Mustafa attended the daylong conference as chief guest.
Md Monitur Rahman, DMD & chief information officer; Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, DMD & chief of loan performance management; Helal Ahmed, chief of branch business & head of operations; and Dilip Kumar Mandal, chief financial officer, along with other members of the senior management team were also present at the conference.
Branch managers of 37 branches under the Dhaka North and South Regions, as well as relevant divisional heads from the head office, participated in the conference.
Addressing the conference, managing director Syed Mansur Mustafa said: “The continued practice of good governance, transparency and accountability has further strengthened customers’ confidence in IFIC Bank. Reflecting this trust, the bank’s deposits have already surpassed Tk53,000 crore.”
He emphasized further strengthening loan recovery efforts while accelerating business growth across different segments and provided necessary strategic directions in this regard.
He also underscored the importance of expanding the Bank’s Retail and MSME businesses, as well as strengthening digital banking services, including Bangla QR, to provide customers with easier, faster and more convenient banking services.
Members of the senior management team discussed various aspects of the bank’s business capabilities, operational progress and strong fundamentals.
They also provided strategic directions on achieving future business objectives, enhancing customer service, maintaining asset quality and ensuring sustainable growth.
During the conference, CFO Dilip Kumar Mandal presented an overview of the bank’s overall business performance and financial progress from January to June 2026.
