To ensure convenient, secure and timely banking services for Hajj pilgrims and strengthen coordination between the bank and Hajj agencies, Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, organized a "Discussion Meeting on Hajj Management."
The discussion meeting was held at a hotel in Dhaka on July 22.
Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Munshi Alauddin Al Azad, attended the event as chief guest, while President of the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (Haab) Syed Golam Sarwar was present as special guest.
The program was presided over by the bank's managing director Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan.
Among others present at the event were the bank's deputy managing directors Md Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury, Md Aminul Islam Bhuiyan, SM Abu Jafar, and Syed Abul Hashem, along with senior executives of the bank, branch managers, and representatives of Hajj agencies from across the country.
In his address, Munshi Alauddin Al Azad said that close coordination among the government, banks and Hajj agencies is essential to ensure convenient, secure and uninterrupted services for Hajj pilgrims.
He appreciated Al-Arafah Islami Bank's initiative to make Hajj management more efficient, transparent and customer-friendly through technology-driven banking services.
Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan said that ensuring reliable and timely banking services for Hajj pilgrims is one of the top priorities of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC.
He noted that the bank has integrated technology, operational excellence and customer-centric services into its Hajj banking solutions to keep pace with evolving customer needs.
He further reaffirmed the Bank's commitment to providing comprehensive support at every stage of the Hajj journey and continuously enhancing service standards to earn the trust and satisfaction of Hajj pilgrims.
The meeting featured interactive discussions on further improving banking services for Hajj pilgrims.
Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration among all stakeholders involved in Hajj management, expanding technology-enabled banking solutions and ensuring faster, more efficient and seamless services for Hajj pilgrims.
