Bank Asia received the ʻOverall Winnerʼ of 24th ICAB National Award by winning first position in all three categories, with the categories being Private Sector Banks, Corporate Governance Disclosures and Integrated Reporting.
Romo Rouf Chowdhury, chairman of the bank, received the award from Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Adviser, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Science & Technology, on Tuesday at Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka.
Mohammed Forkan Uddin, president-ICAB, Sohail RK Hussain, managing director, and Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, CFO of Bank Asia PLC, among others were present at the event.
These recognitions reflect the transparency of financial statements, integration of performance and practice of good governance by Bank Asia.
