Mercantile Bank Training Institute organized a daylong workshop on offshore banking policy and operations at its premises recently.
A total number of 46 officials from various branches and divisions of the head office participated at the workshop.
Mati Ul Hasan, additional managing director & CRO of the bank inaugurated the said workshop.
In his address Matiul highlighted the prospects of offshore banking and urged the participants to be proactive in expanding offshore banking businesses.
Shamim Ahmed, deputy managing director & CAMLCO and Ashim Kumar Saha, deputy managing director & head of treasury of the bank, also spoke at the workshop.
Javed Tariq, principal of the training institute moderated the daylong program.
