Standard Bank PLC donated Tk1 crore to the Chief Adviser's Relief & Welfare Fund to stand by the flood-affected people.
Mohammad Mohon Miah, managing director & CEO (Acting) of the bank; handed over the cheque to Faruk-e-Azam, Bir Pratik, Adviser for the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief of the Interim Govt. of Bangladesh at the Secretariat on Monday.
Since its inception Standard Bank has been actively contributing to human services as part of social responsibility.
The bank is committed to stand by the people affected by any natural disasters.
