Salim Rahman has been elected as the Chairman of Al-Arafah Islami Bank (AIB) PLC.
The election was done unanimously in the 403rd meeting of the Board held on Sunday.
Salim Rahman is currently managing director of KDS Group, which consists of KDS Garments Industries Ltd., KDS Accessories Ltd., KDS Apparels Ltd., KDS Logistics Ltd., KDS IDR Ltd., KDS Textiles Ltd., KYCR Coil Industries Ltd., Steel Accessories Ltd., KDS Poly Industries Ltd.
Salim Rahman has been serving as director for 24 years in Al-Arafah Islami Bank and another Private Bank.
