The 11th annual general meeting (AGM) of the Midland Bank PLC (MDB) was held on Thursday through hybrid system in combination with physical presence of shareholders at the Banquet Hall of Kurmitola Golf Club, Dhaka.
Chairperson of the bank Nilufer Zafarullah presided over the meeting.
A large number of general and institutional shareholders also attended the AGM physically and using digital AGM platform.
Directors including independent directors, sponsors, auditors and independent scrutinizer participated in the AGM.
Md Ahsan-uz Zaman, managing director & CEO, Md Zahid Hossain, DMD, Khalid Mohammad Sharif, company secretary and Zahirul Islam, CFO of the bank, were also present in the meeting.
In the AGM, the shareholders approved 5% cash dividend for the year 2023.
