The City Bank Limited on Saturday launched its priority banking, Citygems, for its high net-worth clients – having minimum deposits of Tk3.5m in the savings accounts or fixed deposit of Tk5m or regular transaction of over Tk4m.
The privileged service `Citygems’ will be initially available from the bank’s three state-of-the-art lounges located in Dhaka and Chittagong. It would offer extraordinary facilities like virtual office for customers, own business meetings, complimentary luncheon privileges, reserved parking with valet service, exclusive locker with powder room etc.
The bank chairman, Rubel Aziz, inaugurated the service at a function in the capital. Project director and the bank directors Aziz Al Kaiser, managing director and CEO K Mahmood Sattar, additional managing directors Sohali Hussain, Faruq Mainuddin, deputy managing director Mashrur Arefin and senior executives were present.
The other privileges of the product include wealth management services like capital market investment advisory, access of private trading room at the Citygems centre with on-site trader, special desk for property and real estate related information.
The product proposition also include a full-service travel concierge arrangement whereby customers will get 24/7 airport pick-up and drop, flight reservation assistance, free access to City Bank Amex Lounge at both international and domestic airports in Dhaka.
Clients would not have to pay additional fees for these services.
The priority banking customers will also receive the Citygems American Express Card, linked to their City Bank Priority Banking Account, Offering account holders unmatched cash back of 7% on spending at leading grocery stores and 2% cash back on all other merchants throughout Bangladesh, continuation of interest earning in saving accounts for additional 15 more days even after the money has been spent.
