BB asks banks to stay open in Chittagong’s Agrabad for 24 hours

Bangladesh Bank (BB) has asked the scheduled banks to take necessary steps for keeping open the branches in Chittagong’s Agrabad area round the clock every day of a week. The branches, those are related with Chittagong port or customs, will remain open round the clock every day by ensuring enough security, said a BB circular on Sunday. Banks will take necessary steps in this regard by discussing the matter with Chittagong port or customs authorities, the circular added.
