JS body wants copy of $81m heist probe report

Chairman of the committee Col Shawkat Ali (retd) told the Dhaka Tribune that they had sought a copy of the report which has been submitted to finance minister. Former Bangladesh Bank Governer Dr Farashuddin headed the probe committee that was formed by the government after the $81m cyber heist from Bangladesh Bank’s US account early this year was reported in the media. “That was a big incident. We think we also should have a copy of the probe report as only finance minister has it,” said Shawkat Ali.
