Bank Asia PLC organized a daylong training program to raise cybersecurity awareness among its employees and enhance their skills in protecting the bank’s digital assets.
The training was arranged in observance of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
Md Sabbir Hossain, additional managing director of Bank Asia PLC, inaugurated the program at the Bank Asia Institute for Training and Development (BAITD) in Lalmatia, Dhaka on October 10.
SM Tofayel Ahmad, additional director (ICT) of Bangladesh Bank, conducted the training session.
The session covered key aspects of cybersecurity governance, regulatory expectations, management responsibilities, cybersecurity risks, threat, employee responsibilities and good security practices.
Team leaders of different levels, including the heads of various departments and branches of the bank, attended the program in person, while other employees participated online.
