Shukhee, the AI-enabled, patient-centric and interoperable digital healthcare application and community-care ecosystem developed by Grameen HealthTech Limited, has won the Bangladesh ICT & Innovation Network (BIIN) Awards in the "Inclusion & Community Services" category for delivering affordable and continuous healthcare to rural and underserved communities.

Held on October 3 at Brac University Auditorium, the award was received on behalf of Grameen HealthTech by CEO Dr Ahmed Arman Siddiqui; chief business and technology officer Mohammad Solaimun Russell; strategic adviser Mohammad Abul Hossain Bangabashi; chief marketing officer Kingshuk Haque; application tech lead Md Tanvir Hossain; and chief of research, analytics, and customer experience Dr Hossain Md. Al-Amin.

Expressing gratitude to the BIIN organizers and jury board, partner organizations, and the Grameen Group family, Grameen HealthTech CEO Dr Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui said in a statement to the media: "This recognition belongs to every Link Worker, doctor and service recipient who has made Shukhee a part of their lives. Healthcare should not depend on where a person lives. This award will inspire us to bring quality healthcare to every household in Bangladesh."

Shukhee is designed to deliver affordable, accessible and continuous healthcare, particularly for rural, underserved and digitally excluded communities.

It connects patients, doctors, pharmacies, diagnostic centres, hospitals, caregivers, Shukhee Seba Kendro and community-based Shukhee Link Workers through one integrated care pathway.

Its services include 24/7 telemedicine, specialist consultations, digital prescriptions, medicine delivery, home diagnostics, referrals, mental-health support, maternal and child healthcare, and NCD management.

Continuous follow-up is supported by integrated, interoperable Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

An AI-enabled healthcare chatbot provides 24/7 service navigation, preliminary symptom intake, health education, appointment assistance, and medication and follow-up reminders, with seamless escalation to qualified healthcare professionals.

The Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) draws on structured patient histories, clinical observations and real-time vital signs to help doctors identify risk and make guideline-based, evidence-informed decisions.

Through doorstep Link Workers, Shukhee Seba Kendro and connected medical devices, including the Shukhee Sastho Bondhu 6-in-1 Device for real-time health assessment, Shukhee turns every rural household into a connected point of patient-centric care.
