Nagad, one of Bangladesh’s leading mobile financial services (MFS) providers, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IFIC Bank PLC to launch an interoperable cardless cash withdrawal facility.
Under this agreement, Nagad customers will be able to withdraw cash from all IFIC Bank Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) across the country without using a physical card.
The agreement was signed at IFIC Bank’s head office in Dhaka.
High-ranking officials from both organizations were present at the signing ceremony, highlighting the strategic importance of this collaboration in enhancing financial inclusion and expanding digital banking services in Bangladesh.
Through this partnership, Nagad users can generate a secure, temporary transaction code or QR-based request via the Nagad mobile app to withdraw cash directly from IFIC Bank ATMs nationwide.
This initiative aims to provide customers with greater convenience, seamless interoperability between bank channels and mobile wallets, and enhanced security for cash transactions.
Speaking at the event, representatives from both Nagad and IFIC Bank emphasized their shared commitment to driving digital innovation, reducing dependence on physical cards, and building a more robust cashless ecosystem across the country.
