Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited and NDE Steel Structures Limited have recently signed two separate agreements.
Under the first agreement, NDE Steel Structures Limited will undertake the steel structure works for key infrastructure at Berger Paints’ third manufacturing facility under construction at the National Special Economic Zone (NSEZ) in Mirsarai, Chittagong.
The project will further strengthen Berger’s manufacturing and supply chain capabilities while supporting its future business growth.
The new facility will significantly enhance Berger’s production capacity to meet the growing demand for paints and coatings in Bangladesh.
At the same time, the project is expected to create new employment opportunities, contribute to the development of local skills, and support the industrial and economic development of the Mirsarai region.
With its strategic location and world-class infrastructure, the National Special Economic Zone in Mirsarai is already emerging as one of the country’s key industrial destinations.
Berger’s new investment in the zone is expected to further contribute to the development of Bangladesh’s manufacturing and industrial sectors.
In addition, under the second agreement signed between the two companies, NDE Steel Structures Limited will exclusively use Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited’s products and solutions across its construction projects.
The agreement is expected to further strengthen the long-term business relationship between the two companies and expand the use of quality products and solutions across the industrial sector.
On behalf of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited, the ceremony was graced by Mohsin Habib Chowdhury, chief executive officer & managing director; Abul Kasem Mohammad Sadeque Nawaj, chief business officer; Salahuddin Ahmed, chief marketing officer; Raquibul Alam, chief supply chain officer; Mahfuzul Haque, head of CAPEX and S&IM Procurement; and members of Berger's industrial sales team and the third factory project team were also present on the occasion.
Representing NDE Steel Structures Ltd, the attendees included Imran Mustafiz, managing director; Md Shamsuzzaman, chief executive officer; and Md Aminul Islam, deputy general manager, sales & marketing.
