Gulshan Youth Club announces ‘Ullash 2026 Inter Club Sportsfest Season 2’

The nine-day sports extravaganza will bring together more than 1,000 athletes representing 21 premier clubs across the country to compete in 14 distinct disciplines

Gulshan Youth Club Ltd officially announced the second season of its flagship multi-sport tournament, the Inter Club Sportsfest "Ullash 2026," set to take place from October 30 to November 7, 2026.

The nine-day sports extravaganza will bring together more than 1,000 athletes representing 21 premier clubs across the country to compete in 14 distinct disciplines.

The announcement was formally made in the presence of key leadership from the host institution and organizing team, including Wahiduzzaman (Tamal), president of Gulshan Youth Club Ltd, and Mehadi Hasan, secretary general of the club and chairman of the Ullash 2026 organizing committee.

They were joined by vice chairmen Iftekhar Rahman, Iffat Ambarin (Joya), and Ameer Ali Mustafa, alongside sports coordinator Fuad Bin Sajjad and press, media & marketing coordinator Ajoy Kumer Kundu.

Chief coordinators, office coordinators, convenors, and representatives from participating institutions also attended the session.

This year's lineup showcases a diverse mix of physical and strategic disciplines, featuring 100-ball cricket, 7-a-side football, basketball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, swimming, padel ball, 8-ball pool, golf, chess, arm wrestling, a marathon, and a general knowledge quiz competition.

The upcoming festival features an expansive lineup of prestigious institutions, including All Community Club Ltd., Banani Club Ltd., Baridhara Cosmopolitan Club, Cadet College Club, Club Notredamians Bangladesh Ltd., Club Shaheen Ltd., Corporate Executive Club, Dhaka Boat Club Ltd., Dhaka Club Ltd, Gulshan Club Ltd., Gulshan North Club Ltd., IBA Alumni Club Ltd., Narayanganj Club, Saints Club Ltd., and Uttara Club Ltd. International and diplomatic sports communities will also participate, including BAGHA Club, Bangladesh China Club Ltd., International Recreation Club Ltd., Kurmitola Golf Club, Netherlands Recreation Centre (Dutch Club, Dhaka), and Nordic Club, alongside host institution Gulshan Youth Club Ltd.

Addressing the gathering, Wahiduzzaman (Tamal) expressed sincere appreciation to the visiting clubs and athletes for their enthusiastic commitment to promoting athletic excellence and contributing to the event's growing legacy.

Mehadi Hasan highlighted the broader vision of the festival, emphasizing that the competition aims to deliver an engaging experience for sports enthusiasts while fostering deeper friendship, camaraderie, and healthy athletic rivalry across the participating organizations.
