Ahead of International Youth Day, the Yamaha Riders Club (YRC) organized a beach cleaning campaign at Sugandha Point in Cox’s Bazar, engaging around 400 Yamaha riders who participated in the YRC Annual Conclave 2026, organized by Yamaha Bangladesh on August 11.
The daylong annual conclave was held at Long Beach Hotel in Cox’s Bazar, bringing together Yamaha riders from different parts of the country.
The event featured a range of activities aimed at strengthening the Yamaha riders’ community and promoting social responsibility.
During the conclave, Yamaha Bangladesh also honored selected riders for their outstanding contributions to various social service initiatives.
As International Youth Day is observed on 12 August, the riders participated in the beach cleaning initiative at Sugandha Point in the afternoon as part of the conclave.
The participants actively collected plastic, polythene, and other waste from different areas of the beach, contributing to a cleaner and more environmentally friendly coastline.
The initiative aimed to encourage young people to take an active role in environmental protection and social responsibility.
Through this campaign, the Yamaha Riders Club demonstrated how youth engagement can contribute meaningfully to community welfare and environmental conservation.
The campaign was attended by Subrata Ranjan Das, managing director of ACI Motors, along with senior officials of ACI Motors, who joined and supported the Yamaha riders in this socially responsible initiative.
