Kazi Food Industries Limited has clarified the matter to the media regarding Bellissimo Rotondo ice cream, after recent reports led to some concern and confusion among consumers about the product.
The issue involves Batch No: 26050101A, which was found to contain milk solids-not-fat (MSNF) levels exceeding the standard prescribed by the national quality regulator.
In a press notice addressing recent consumer concern, the company clarified that higher MSNF levels do not pose any health risk.
MSNF consists of natural milk components including proteins, lactose, minerals, and vitamins.
The company emphasized that the variance is purely a matter of regulatory compliance and refuted media reports suggesting the presence of harmful substances or microorganisms.
Kazi Food Industries stated that re-verification is actively underway under BSTI supervision.
The company confirmed that the product line will be reintroduced once all required quality adjustments and regulatory approvals are finalized.
