Shukhee, the digital healthcare platform of Grameen HealthTech Limited, has been named Bangladesh Country Winner in the “SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being” category at The SDG Brand Champion Awards 2026.
The award recognizes organizations whose initiatives make measurable and lasting contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The recognition places Shukhee among a select group of Bangladeshi brands honoured in 2026 for turning sustainability commitments into practical, community-level impact.
Shukhee Gram was launched to help reduce the healthcare divide between Bangladesh’s urban and rural communities. The initiative brings affordable and reliable medical support closer to underserved populations with limited access to formal healthcare facilities.
Built around Shukhee’s founding philosophy of “healthcare for everyone,” the program connects rural communities with doctors, health guidance and locally delivered support.
Dr Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui, CEO of Grameen HealthTech said: “The award reflected the trust placed in the initiative by communities across rural Bangladesh. This recognition belongs to every community health worker and every family in rural Bangladesh who placed their trust in Shukhee Gram. Our goal has always been to make quality healthcare a right, not a privilege, regardless of where someone lives.”
Shukhee Gram combines community engagement with Shukhee’s wider digital healthcare network. Its model includes telehealth consultations, remote health-monitoring devices, HealthStore services and Shukhee Seba Kendra (SSK) touchpoints bringing essential care closer to where people live.
According to Grameen HealthTech, Shukhee now serves more than five million customers across Bangladesh, with rural healthcare remaining a central part of its mission to make quality care accessible to everyone, everywhere.
