Walton Cables holds Annual Dealers Conference 2026 in Sreemangal

Dealers pledge to deliver safe, international-standard cables to households across Bangladesh

Under the slogan “Rise Together”, Walton Cables, a product of the Bangladesh’s superbrand in the electrical and electronics sector, held its ‘Annual Dealers Conference 2026’ at Sreemangal in Moulvibazar. 

More than 300 dealers and sales representatives from different parts of the country attended the conference. 

The event focused on strengthening Walton Cables’ market position and maintaining sustained sales growth through market research, timely marketing initiatives and effective business strategies.

During the conference, the company’s dealers pledged to deliver safe, internationally certified Walton cables to households and establishments across Bangladesh.

Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC’s managing director SM Mahbubul Alam and director Nishat Tasnim Shuchi formally inaugurated the conference on Wednesday (July 15) at the Grand Sultan Tea Resort and Golf in Sreemangal.

Addressing the distributors, Walton’s MD SM Mahbubul Alam described them as one of the company’s principal strengths. “Through your efforts, Walton’s world-class and safe cables are reaching consumers across the country. At the same time, the company’s market share is expanding and becoming increasingly consolidated,” he said.

Highlighting the importance of electrical safety, he said cables and electrical solutions play a critical role in ensuring the safety of homes and other structures.

“Alongside conducting business, we have a responsibility towards our customers. Walton therefore manufactures and markets safe, international-standard cables and electrical solutions for homes, educational institutions, hospitals, offices and other establishments,” he added.

Addressing the conference, Walton’s director Nishat Tasnim Shuchi said the company’s cable business was progressing rapidly due to the sustained efforts of its distributors.

In addition to meeting domestic demand, she noted that Walton Cables are being exported to many countries, including India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Yemen, Nepal and Bhutan. 

She also encouraged the distributors to undertake extensive branding and promotional activities at the regional level to strengthen the brand’s presence across the country.

The conference was also attended, among others, by Walton Plaza managing director Mohammad Rayhan, Walton Hi-Tech’s additional managing directors Nazrul Islam Sarker, Eva Rizwana and Md Yusuf Ali, chief marketing officer Zoheb Ahmed, and Walton Cables’ chief business officer Raju Ahmed. 

Popular film actor and Walton’s senior executive director Amin Khan hosted the program.

The Grand Sultan premises took on a festive atmosphere as distributors from across the country gathered for the event, which began in the evening and continued throughout the night.

The program also featured a raffle draw and a prize giving ceremony to honour the best dealers of Walton Cables for their outstanding efforts in sustaining sales growth in the previous year. The conference ended with a cultural performance.
