A voluntary organization of women dedicated to social services, Inner Wheel of Agradut, Dhaka, has reiterated its commitment to working for promoting friendship and international understanding for the benefit of people.
Members of the new committee of Agradut led by newly elected president Qamrun Nahar Sheuly and her predecessor Shahina Hassan pledged to uphold the club’s spirit during the inauguration ceremony at a restaurant in Gulshan, Dhaka, last week. The club members later sang and recited poems there.
The committee’s vice presidents Anjuman Nahar and Mahua Ahmed, treasurer Anjuman Akter Bely, club secretary Mridula Rashid, ISO (international service organizer) Sabrina Sadat, and correspondent Eliza Parvin also took over their responsibility.
Associated with Rotary Club, Inner Wheel Club is part of the global International Inner Wheel.
Chairman of Inner Wheel Club of Bangladesh District 328 Shamim Khandaker handed over the collar and urged the club members to enhance their efforts to work for the helpless people, especially the women.
District secretary and Prime Bank director Nasim Anwar Hossain and founding president and Sandhani Life Insurance Company’s director Kawser Jahan Farida were also present.
