The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) celebrated Chartered Secretary Day 2026 Tuesday commemorating the enactment of the Chartered Secretaries Act, 2010, a landmark legislation that established and recognized the Chartered Secretary profession in Bangladesh.
The celebration brought together founders, members, students of the institute, professionals, chartered secretaries and executives from leading corporate houses and other stakeholders to acknowledge the vital role of Chartered Secretaries in promoting corporate governance, regulatory compliance, ethical business practices and sustainable organizational development.
The daylong celebration included a colorful rally from the National Museum, Shahbag to ICSB premises at Banglamotor, ceremonial cake cutting, discussion session and musical program among others.
