In a heartfelt gesture of recognition and appreciation, foodpanda Bangladesh has gifted an e-bike to Solayman, a rider with limited mobility, supporting his delivery work and resilience.
The e-bike was handed over during ‘Panda Rider Grand Iftar 2026’, a special iftar gathering hosted by the company for its delivery partners.
Ambareen Reza and Zubair BA Siddiky, co-founders and managing directors of foodpanda Bangladesh, formally handed over the e-bike at the event held recently at Altair Convention Hall on Madani Avenue in Dhaka.
Solayman lost one of his legs in a childhood accident but continued to pursue his education and work to support himself. Today, he works as a delivery rider, navigating the busy streets of Dhaka with determination.
Expressing his gratitude, Solayman said the e-bike would make a significant difference in his daily work.
“I am truly grateful to foodpanda for this e-bike. Delivering orders in the city can be challenging, but this support will make my work easier and allow me to continue my journey with confidence,” Solaiman said after receiving the e-bike from the co-founders of foodpanda in Bangladesh.
The ‘Panda Rider Grand Iftar 2026’ brought together around 500 delivery partners and guests from across Dhaka, creating an opportunity for riders and company leadership to connect and share their experiences during the holy month of Ramadan.
The event also featured interactive conversations between delivery partners and the management team, aimed at better understanding riders’ experiences and challenges.
The program concluded with a lively quiz session and prize distribution, celebrating the contribution of the riders who play a vital role in foodpanda’s operations.
foodpanda continues to support its delivery partners through initiatives such as healthcare assistance, insurance coverage and access to online education, reflecting its commitment to building a more inclusive and supportive ecosystem for its rider community.
