The Green Factory Award 2025, under the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments and the Ministry of Employment, was held recently.
The chief guest at the event was Brigadier General (retd) Dr M Sakhawat Hossain, advisor to the Ministry of Employment and the Ministry of Shipping.
The special guest was Adilur Rahman Khan, advisor to the Ministry of Industries and the Ministry of Housing and Public Works.
At the event, after a thorough inspection of all factories and establishments across Bangladesh, high-quality institutions were honoured with the Green Factory Award.
In the textile sector, Akij Textile Mills Ltd received the Green Factory Award.
On behalf of Akij Textile, Managing Director Sheikh Jamil Uddin accepted the award.
Senior officials of Akij Textile were also present at the event.
