Blender’s Choice set to honour Bangladesh’s brightest creative talents

This year marks the fourth edition of the awards, a testament to the growing impact of Bangladesh’s OTT and digital content creators on local and global audiences

In a celebration of innovation, storytelling, and digital excellence, Ispahani Tea Limited and The Daily Star are proud to unveil the Blender’s Choice – The Daily Star OTT and Digital Content Awards 2024. 

This year marks the fourth edition of the awards, a testament to the growing impact of Bangladesh’s OTT and digital content creators on local and global audiences.

Adding to the excitement, TikTok returns as the entertainment partner, reinforcing its commitment to uplifting creative voices and expanding their reach beyond borders.

For 2024, the awards will spotlight exceptional work across 29 distinct categories, carefully curated to reflect the diversity and evolution of the digital entertainment landscape. These include:

  • Nine categories based on popular choices in film, drama, and series
  • Four music categories celebrate original sound and impact
  • Twelve categories determined by critical and industry acclaim
  • Three categories are dedicated to recognizing content creators
  • One People’s Choice Award, selected entirely by audience

This year’s expanded structure ensures that both emerging and established creators receive the recognition they deserve across formats, platforms, and genres.

The official announcement took place at a press meet attended by top executives and industry stakeholders, including Imran Kadir, head of Marketing and Sales at The Daily Star; Omar Hannan, general manager of Ispahani Tea Limited; and Ajoy Kumar Kundu, CEO of Mediacom Limited.
