Inflation in Bangladesh has slightly dropped to 9.05% in May, down from 9.17% in April.
According to data released on Monday by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), it also showed that food inflation declined to 8.59% in May, compared to 8.63% in April.
Non-food inflation also saw a decrease, falling to 9.42% in May from 9.61% in the previous month.
