Leading food and grocery delivery platform in Bangladesh, foodpanda, organized a special Iftar event, Panda Rider Grand Iftar 2025, to honor and appreciate its dedicated riders.
Held at Altair Convention Hall (Madani Avenue) on Wednesday, the event brought together 300 riders from across Dhaka, including top-performing riders from all city zones, in recognition of their contributions.
foodpanda’s management and senior officials also engaged closely with riders to gain deeper insights into their experiences and challenges, reinforcing the company’s commitment to enhancing rider support.
Haider Malik, director of Operations, foodpanda Bangladesh, shared: "Our riders are the backbone of foodpanda, ensuring seamless deliveries, especially during the heightened demands of Ramadan. We organized the Panda Rider Grand Iftar 2025 as a token of appreciation for their unwavering dedication. It was heartwarming to see them come together and celebrate this special evening."
As a gesture of gratitude during Ramadan, foodpanda is doubling rider tips every Friday by matching each taka received from customers. Through its pandaheart program, the company continues to support riders with flexible earning opportunities, healthcare assistance, insurance, and access to online education.
