Midland Bank PLC (MDB) inaugurated its Gazipur Branch at Smart Plaza, Holdin No: 154/1, Joydebpur Bazar Road, Ward No: 26, Gazipur City Corporation, P/S: Gazipur Sadar, Dist: Gazipur on Wednesday.
Md Ahsan-uz Zaman, managing director and CEO of the bank, inaugurated the Branch as chief guest along with Javed Tarek Khan, head of the Institutional Banking Division; Md Rashed Akter, head of Retail Distribution Division, Md Abdullah, branch manager ofthe Gazipur Branch, customers and other local businessman and elites.
Government and non-government officials of different organizations, businessmen, journalists and local elites were present in the programme and expressed good wishes for the Bank.
The head of SME Banking Division, the head of General Services Division, Area Head, Cluster Heads of the bank were present during the inaugural ceremony.
The MD and CEO, in his speech, expressed thanks to the audience present in the programme and requested them to establish a relationship with the bank through opening an account in the bank.
He instructed branch officials to provide the best service to the customers and requested the audience to use “midland online” - the free internet banking application of the Bank and enjoy safe, secure and modern banking services from anywhere, anytime.
At the beginning of the ceremony, “Doa” was held to seek the divine blessings of Almighty Allah for the welfare, progress, and prosperity of both the Bank and the country.
Md Rashadul Anwar, head of PRD anchored the inaugural program.
