The four-day-long “Apex Golf Tournament 2025” was held at the Army Golf Club, Dhaka, from January 22 to January 25.
Organized by Apex Footwear Limited, the event witnessed the participation of renowned golfers from across the nation.
On Saturday, the tournament concluded with a closing ceremony that included a prize distribution, a vibrant cultural program, and a delightful dinner, leaving guests entertained and delighted.
The chief guests of the closing ceremony were General Walker-Uz-Zaman, chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army, and Chief Patron of the Army Golf Club.
The presence of Syed Manzur Elahi, chairman of Apex Footwear Limited, added glory to the event. Also, the presence of Syed Nasim Manzur, Managing Director of Apex Footwear Limited, further added prestige to the event.
The event was graced by Major General Khan Firoz Ahmed, president of the Army Golf Club, along with members of the executive committee and other notable individuals. Representing Apex Footwear Limited were Firoz Mohammad, chief operating officer, and Raihan Kabir, head of Marketing, along with other officials.
This tournament set a new milestone in the history of the Army Golf Club, with 836 golfers participating—a record-breaking number for the club. This unprecedented participation highlighted the growing popularity of the tournament and reflected its successful execution.
