Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, Bangladesh Air Force, inaugurated the 3-day-long '51" Aga Khan Gold Cup Golf Tournament 2025' at the Kurmitola Golf Club on January 17.
Approximately 500 golfers participated in this tournament from all clubs of the country including representatives of the diplomatic community in Bangladesh.
The tee-off was witnessed, among others by Lieutenant General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque, commandant, National Defence College, and vice president, Kurmitola Golf Club, Madad Ali Virani, president, Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for Bangladesh, Brigadier General Md Towhid Hossain, club captain, Kurmitola Golf Club, Brigadier General Abidur Reza Khan (retd), tournament director, Kurmitola Golf Club, executive committee members Colonel Md Shahidul Haque (retd), chief executive officer, Kurmitola Golf Club, Colonel SM Sazzad Hossain, club secretary, Kurmitola Golf Club, Prof. Shahin Mahbuba Haque, lady captain, Kurmitola Golf Club, Kurmitola Golf Club, senior officials of Bangladesh Air Force and members of Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for Bangladesh and officials of the Kurmitola Golf Club.
The prize giving ceremony was held on Saturday at Banquet Hall of Kurmitola Golf Club.
