Meena Sweets & Confectionaries Ltd., a sister concern of Gemcon Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Walton Plaza, marking the beginning of a collaborative initiative to provide special benefits for employees and customers of both companies.
The signing ceremony took place at Walton Corporate Office in Dhaka on January 9.
The MoU was signed by Shameem Ahmed Jaigirder, chief operating officer of Meena Bazar & Meena Sweets, and Md Rayhan, managing director of Walton Plaza, in the presence of distinguished officials from both sides.
Among those present were Sheke Golam Rahman Shovon, manager, operations, Meena Sweets, AHM Monjurul Huq, assistant manager, corporate sales, Meena Sweets, Md Foysal Wahid, head of human resources & management, Walton Plaza, Wahiduzzaman Tanvir, chief sales executive, Walton Plaza and HM Aminur Rashid, section head, Walton Plaza.
This MoU ensures exclusive discounts for employees and customers of both companies aiming to create added value and strengthen ties between the two entities.
Beyond immediate benefits, the agreement is expected to open new avenues for business growth and collaboration between Meena Sweets and Walton Plaza.
Currently, Meena Sweets has 22 outlets in Dhaka city, out of which 10 are its own outlets and 12 outlets are located inside Meena Bazar.
Under this MoU, all Walton Plaza employees and customers holding Surokkha Card will get special benefits from Meena Sweets outlets.
All employees of Meena Sweets and Gemcon Group will get special discounts and benefits on any purchase from Walton Plazas across the country.
The MoU symbolizes a shared vision for growth and mutual benefit, reinforcing the reputation of both companies as leaders in their respective industries.
