IFIC Bank PLC, in collaboration with the Department of Soil, Water and Environment Discipline at Khulna University, successfully organized a Financial Literacy Program to equip students with essential knowledge and skills for financial management and career planning on Wednesday.
The event was held at the Journalist Liakat Ali Auditorium, Khulna University, and witnessed an enthusiastic response from students and faculty alike.
The event opened with SM Shahriar Zaman, lecturer of Soil, Water and Environment Discipline, welcoming attendees and stressing the importance of financial literacy for students entering professional life.
Md Rafiqul Islam, deputy managing director and chief of Branch Business of IFIC Bank reinforced the bank's commitment to youth financial education, while Khulna University’s Director of Student Affairs, Prof Dr Md Nazmus Sadath encouraged students to take advantage of such opportunities.
Keynote speaker SM Hasan Reza, executive director of Bangladesh Bank, highlighted the role of financial literacy in sustainable growth.
