IDLC Finance PLC has partnered with the environmental organization Tarupallab for a large-scale tree plantation campaign in a commendable effort to tackle deforestation and promote environmental sustainability.
The initiative ensured the plantation of 1,000 rare and endangered tree saplings at Teota Jomidar Bari, a historic cultural site in Manikganj on Saturday.
The project, supported by IDLC Finance PLC and Tarupallab, aligns with global goals of promoting sustainability through environmental restoration and heritage conservation, ensuring that both nature and culture are protected in tandem.
Upazila nirbahi officer of Shibaloy, Manikganj, assistant commissioner (Land) of Shibaloy, Manikganj, Chairman of Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission, top management and representatives of IDLC and Tarupallab were present in the plantation program.
