In response to the call from Interim Government Chief Advisor Dr Muhammad Yunus to support those affected by the recent floods, Kazi Farms Group has stepped forward with significant contributions.
Employees from Kazi Farms, Kazi Media Limited, and Kazi Food Industries Limited have donated their one-day salaries, amounting to Tk1.22 crore.
The donation was officially handed over to the Chief Advisor’s Relief Fund on September 9.
Kazi Farms Director Kazi Zahin Hasan presented the donation cheque to Disaster Management and Relief Advisor Faruq-E-Azam at the Bangladesh Secretariat.
CEO of Kazi Food Industries Limited Tanvir Haider Chaudhury was also present during the handover.
In addition to the financial contribution, Kazi Farms has launched an initiative to assist poultry farmers affected by the floods.
As part of this support, Kazi Farms will provide free chicks to help farmers restart their operations and recover from the damage caused by the floods.
