Rangs Family remembered the founder chairman of Rangs Group of Companies Akhter Hussain on his second death anniversary.
Akhter Hussain breathed his last on Friday, February 11, 2022 at about 11:50AM at the age of 72 years.
He was buried in the family graveyard at his village home at Khaokhir in Nalchity upazila of Jhalakathi.
He was one of the forerunners actively worked for the exceptional growth of the electronic industry in Bangladesh by starting the business in 1984 with the establishment of Rangs Electronics Limited, well known as Sony-Rangs.
Eventually expanded the business tree in many sectors like motorbike, pharmaceuticals, petro chemicals, motor, cargo & shipping, construction & engineering etc.
He was serving as the chairman of Rangs Electronics Limited, Pharmasia Ltd., White Products & Electronics Ltd.; Hussain Trading Company Ltd.; REL Motors Ltd.; REL Petro Chemicals Ltd.; Skybangla Aviation Ltd.; Sharp Travels Ltd. and Vice-Chairman of TVS Auto Bangladesh Ltd.
He was also the inspiration for other concern named Pharma Solutions BD Ltd.; Face Me Ltd.; First Imperial BD Ltd.; Islam Brothers Construction & Engineering Ltd. etc.
All the members of Rangs Group of companies; Employees from all sister concerns join in the Dua Mahfil along with his family & friends at Rangs HQ, Sonartori Tower, Banglamotor, Dhaka.
Akhter will be remembered for his inspiring leadership, kind hearted welcoming persona and as a leading entrepreneur in his field. His legacy lives on countless well-wishers.
