Guangzhou MalishaEdu Co. Ltd has successfully recently organized one of the biggest global education conferences in Guangzhou City, China. The primary purpose of this conference was to bring all the delegates from different countries together to learn more about Chinese universities' progress in the education and research sectors and create a platform for establishing bilateral collaboration, admission processes, and scholarship opportunities at Chinese universities.
Over 40 well-reputed Chinese universities, six countries' embassy and consulate representatives, eight countries' ministries of education and local government representatives, over 50 overseas universities and educational institutes, and over 100 overseas delegates joined this academic conference.
Among Chinese Universities, there were Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), South China University of Technology (SCUT), Yangzhou University (YZU), and other top-raked Universities.
International delegates from over 30 countries, including Bangladesh, Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Ethiopia, Kenya, Angola, Mozambique, Morocco and others countries joined this conference.
Among the International delegates were The Education Attache, Embassy of the Republic of Kenya Innocent Aloyce Mogunde, The First Secretary of the Peoples Republic of Mozambique, Teles Alfredo Macobe, Deputy Director of Ministry of Education (OBEC) Thailand, Thapanut Udomsree, Vice President of Ethiopian Pharma College Prof Mitiku Defersha Mentie were present at conference.
From Bangladesh, Private Secretary of Education Minister Government of Bangladesh Mr Abu Ali Md Shazzad Hossain, Deputy Director of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh Dr Md Fakhrul Islam, the founder and director of the Brac Institute of Languages (BIL), Brac University Lady Syeda Sarwat Abed, joined the conference.
Moreover, Bangladeshi social influencers for the young generation, Solaiman Shukhon and Tawhid Uddin Afridi, covered the programme.
On the first day of the programme, The Chairman of MalishaEdu Engr Sheikh Korban Ali and six other guests, including Abu Ali Md Shazzad Hossain and Lady Syeda Sarwat Abed were present at the programme.
In the opening speech, Engr Sheikh Korban Ali mentioned: "We are not only presenting Chinese education globally, but also we are very proud to present our Bangladesh and Bangladeshi cultures to the world."
Dr Md Fakhrul Islam presented the Bangladeshi Education System and mentioned the importance of studying in China for Bangladeshi students.
Additionally, Tianjin University, Northeast Forestry University, and Chengdu Normal University have successfully signed an Agreement with the Belt and Road Chinese Center (BRCC) to create more opportunities for international students to learn the Chinese language and culture.
All delegates had a one-to-one collaboration discussion; through this discussion, all international delegates understood the admission and scholarship policy of Chinese universities. Moreover, many Chinese Universities have established bilateral collaborations with international educational institutes.
Prof Dr Maruf Mollah, the managing director of MalishaEdu, delivered the closing speech and announced the international education expo in 2024, including Bangladesh.
He believes that through this education conference, more and more international education institutions and students will get to know the opportunities and facilities of Chinese Education.
